We are so delighted to be opening again - we have revamped the Menu, please see below and on the 'food' page of the website. Takeaway Pizzas will continue and you can add a takeaway 4 Pinter of Beer - please ask for details when ordering
We have some 'rules' to ensure we can keep you, and us, safe - and do ask for your understanding and acceptance - here they are:
🍺☀️ Beer Garden ☀️🍺
From tomorrow the 6th July - We will continue to serve breakfast from 9am to 11am and then from 11am alcohol will be served in the beer garden.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back. We hope the sun is shining but even if it’s not, the welcome will be warm.
We have provided some guidance below and we would appreciate your help to adhere to these rules:
☀️ Social distancing in place of 2 metres.
🧼 The restaurant, kitchen, bar, toilets and all outside tables have been deep cleaned over the last 14 weeks.
🧴 Sanitisers are available at entry, on the main wall and at the toilet area.
🚺🚹 there is a oneway system in place for the toilets with a one in one out policy. There are hand sanitisers at point of entry and exit and must be used. There are also antibacterial wipes available.
⚠️ There is signage throughout the premises advising customers of our procedures. If anyone has any concerns please raise directly with the staff who will do their best to address appropriately.
📖 when you arrive you will be required to leave your party contact details which will be held on file. You can also 'check in ' on our Facebook page
🍷 When visiting for just drinks, please observe the one way system, through the front door and out the side door. Payment will be required preferably by contactless card.
🍽 Ordering food and drinks? Please find a table, staff will take your order, and this will be brought to you. The menus are laminated and will be sanitised after each use. Again payment by contactless card will be taken by the staff
🛑 All tables are sanitised in between sittings. We have 7 tables outside, which seat 8 folk so we can have a maximum of 56 people in the garden. Please respect this and we politely ask you to not stay on your table longer than 2 hours.
The estuary wall is another option and again be mindful of the 2 metre rule and passing traffic
The Bar and Snug area will also be utilised in the coming days and again please limit your visit to two hours maximum
🍅 All sauces and vinegars will be in disposable sachets.
🍸 All glasses, plates and utensils will be disposable to start with and you will be able to dispose of them in marked bins after use.
😷 Where required, staff will have suitable PPE.
🐶 Dogs are of course very welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
🍺 Due to reduced production and restrictions on supplies/deliveries we do not, at this time, have all the bar stock that we usually have in relation to draughts. But we soon will!
☎️ We are not taking reservations for the beer garden, bar or snug areas - please take a vacant table and await service.
From 15th July reservations for the Lounge and Harbour Room will be taken but wait times will be longer as we prioritise guests in the garden, bar and snug areas first.
Our space is limited and we must ensure guests in the high traffic areas are dealt with as quickly as possible to ensure safe social distancing and safety of our staff serving them. We hope you will understand.
🔑Closing times will likely be flexible.
Thank you for your cooperation on this, any questions please ask. If you come and find you have a suggestion that might help everyone - please tell us
